How do I claim and verify my company's listing?

Take ownership of your listing and earn the Verified badge by proving you control your company's domain.

Updated

Claiming your listing

Find your company on Vistaro Launch and open the listing. Select "Claim" or navigate to /claim/<listing>. You'll need to prove you control the company's domain using one of these methods:

  • Email verification: we send a link to an address at your company domain
  • DNS record: add a TXT record to your root domain
  • Meta tag: place a tag on your homepage
  • File upload: host a verification file on your website

What happens next

Once verified, you become the listing's owner (if it was previously unclaimed). You can then edit the listing details and receive the Verified badge.

Understanding the badge

The Verified badge signals that you control the company's domain. It is never sold and remains entirely separate from paid placement or community votes. Your verification code lasts 14 days; if it expires, you can start the process again.

Verification confirms domain ownership only—nothing more, nothing less. Visitors across industries and from every region see this badge as a marker of authentic company control.

Questions people ask

Which verification method should I choose?
Any of the four methods works equally well. Pick whichever is easiest for you: email is often quickest, whilst DNS or meta tag edits suit technical teams. File upload works if you have direct website access.
What if my verification code expires?
Verification codes last 14 days. If yours runs out before you complete the steps, return to your listing and start the claim process again—you'll receive a new code.
Does the Verified badge affect my listing's rank?
No. The badge proves you control the domain. Community votes and paid features operate entirely separately. Your position on the horizon depends on votes from visitors, never on verification status.
