PrepShorts is a study companion for India's NCERT Mathematics textbooks, serving students in Classes 6 to 12. For each topic in the NCERT curriculum, the platform provides a short video (8-13 minutes) made from the textbook's own pages, followed by the chapter's figures and pages, key terms, and a five-question check that closes each topic.
The service is built around the principle that the textbook is the curriculum. Videos follow the book's own section structure, cite figures by their printed numbers, and mark activities so students can pause and complete them before continuing. Each topic is designed to take about 15 minutes to complete fully.
PrepShorts offers free individual student accounts that remain permanently free. Schools can purchase access for ₹25,000 per year plus GST for all their classes, or ₹15,000 plus GST for their first year. Teachers can see where their class got stuck and answer doubts pinned to specific moments in the videos. The platform covers 708 topics across 88 chapters for Classes 6 to 12, with complete coverage for Classes 6-8 (Ganita Prakash), Class 9 (Ganita Manjari Part I), and Classes 10-12.

How do I create a student account?
Press Sign up and choose Student, then sign in with Google. One short form follows: your school code if you have one, your name, your class and your section. There is no password — Google signs you in — no document to upload, no payment step and no waiting for approval. The account is live at once. You do not need one to watch — every video plays without signing in; the account is what keeps your progress, your check scores and your doubts. If you enter a school code, press Check code and the form names the school on the spot, so a typo cannot land you on the wrong roster.
